THE GAME OF MONARCHS
The Dark and Light compliment each other everywhere Mira looks as she stares into the night cloaked forest from the edge of her mountain-top prison. She devours the scenes of freedom for a few moments more, before she's ripped back into her dark reality; ripped back into her new life within the Monarch's Kingdom.
A Kingdom that takes people, strips them of their memories, and breaks them piece by piece until their humanity is but a faded dream of what they once used to be. With the help of another who has been paired to guide her through her Breaking, Mira must decide what she's willing to lose to break free from the Monarch's grip.
Or is the Kingdom and her Breaking a part of something greater?
